ANALISIS POTENSI APLIKASINYA HASIL IRIGASI SPRINKLER MINI TERHADAP KEGIATAN USAHATANI PADA KAWASAN JARINGAN IRIGASI AIR TANAH (JIAT) DI DESA GUMANTAR

Agriculture in the dry land of Gumantar, is currently supported by deep groundwater irrigation with a pipe network and outlet box system, but the irrigation method uses a temporary flooding method such as for 2 hours since the pump is turned on. Considering that the irrigation is still very wasteful of water and many areas with small areas have the potential for water supply from the JIAT network to be excessive for the needs of a small area of land. To increase its efficiency, it is necessary to implement another irrigation system, which is more efficient, such as a small sprinkler irrigation system with a short reach, so that it is effective in serving irrigation on small agricultural land and the duration of irrigation can be adjusted to the growth phases of the plants planted, and adjust to the pump capacity. This test was carried out on a land area of about 4 are with a small 24D Netafim sprinkler irrigation system of 10 points and tested in turns every 5 sprinklers with a duration of 1 hour. The test was carried out on the irrigation radius, irrigation depth and irrigation duration. The results of the study showed that for 1 hour irrigation can provide irrigation up to a depth of 7 cm and for a duration of 2 hours it is estimated to be able to provide irrigation up to a depth of 14 cm. The irrigation system at the potential location is used for the provision of water for plants with short plant roots, such as horticulture.
