In the implementation of the program of mutation and promotion of increasing positions has not significantly explained the increase in employee performance due to the trend of decreasing standard of performance in a certain period. From this phenomenon a purpose arose to test the role of mutation and promotion of positions to employee performance at Villa Taman Dharmawangsa Suites. The population used was all 66 staff through a calculation range with a likert scale containing 30 items then the data acquired were examide with SPSS statistical utility. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques, determination (R square) and preliminary assumption inspection resulted in that the mutation and promotion variables was significantly and positively associated in terms of partial and simultanly. The magnitude of the contribution of variables X1 and X2 to Y seen from the results of the Coefficient of determination test was 83.4%.
