Therefore, this study aims to analyze the comparative effectiveness of three alternative study locations (cafes, libraries, and boarding rooms/houses) for UBB Information Technology students of the class of 2024 using a descriptive quantitative approach and Cramer's Rule modeling method to obtain the relative effectiveness weight (w). The results from 31 respondents showed a conflict between student habits and measured effectiveness: although boarding rooms/houses were used most frequently (90.3%), they only ranked second with a negative weight (wz = -4.7), suggesting that high comfort often sacrifices learning effectiveness. Conversely, libraries were rated most effective with the highest positive weight (wy = 13.9), as they were considered most conducive to concentration. Meanwhile, cafes ranked the lowest (wx = -10.8), confirming that external distractions are a major barrier, so this study suggests students prioritize environments that are measured as effective, such as libraries, for tasks that require deep focus.
2026-01-03T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Arjuna Danuartha, Dafa Fadhilahttps://jurnal.yalamqa.com/index.php/aqlu/article/view/494SISTEM REKOMENDASI FILM MENGGUNAKAN METODE CONTENT BASED FILTERING DENGAN ALGORITMA TF-IDF2026-01-03T08:51:54+07:00Alvin Febrianalvin-febrian@mahasiswa.ubb.ac.idErgy Dwi Permanaergydp@gmail.com
The development of digital streaming platforms has led to information overload, making it difficult for users to choose a movie. This study aims to design and implement a movie recommendation system to address this issue. The method used is Content-Based Filtering (CBF), which focuses on textual content analysis. This system uses the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm to weight words in movie synopses, and Cosine Similarity to calculate similarities between movies. The results of the study indicate that the system was successfully implemented. Functional tests showed that the system was able to provide highly relevant recommendations when the synopsis keywords were unique, such as in the 'Batman' test. However, the system also showed limitations when the keywords were ambiguous, such as in the 'Hulk' test which incorrectly matched the name "Bruce". For quantitative accuracy evaluation, the system was tested using the Precision@k metric and achieved an average precision value of 30.00% at P@5. The conclusion of this study is that the synopsis-based CBF method was successfully implemented, but its performance was shown to be highly dependent on the quality and uniqueness of the keywords in the synopsis data
2026-01-03T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Alvin Febrian, Ergy Dwi Permanahttps://jurnal.yalamqa.com/index.php/aqlu/article/view/501ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI TERHADAP KONSEP VEKTOR PADA PEMBELAJARAN ALJABAR LINEAR2026-01-03T08:51:45+07:00Hamit Sarif Zakihanitsarifzaki@gmail.comHabibi Dwika Pratamahabibidwikapratama7@gmail.com
Linear Algebra, particularly the concept of vectors, is an important foundation for Information Technology (IT) students in various applications in computing and computer graphics. This study aims to understand the extent to which Class A IT students at Bangka Belitung University (UBB) understand the concept of vectors conceptually and interpretively, as many students experience difficulties in connecting mathematical calculations with real-world applications. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach involving 21 respondents (saturated sampling) using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire analyzed through average scores (means) and percentages. The results show that students' conceptual understanding is high (mean around 3.71). However, their ability to interpret computational results is still in the neutral category (mean around 3.19), indicating a gap between their ability to master formulas and their understanding of applications. The main finding shows that 80.9% of respondents really need a learning approach that focuses on visualization to overcome difficulties in understanding space. Thus, it is concluded that instructors need to change their teaching strategies by emphasizing functional interpretation and integrating visual aids to improve the application understanding of vectors.
2026-01-03T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Hamit Sarif Zaki, Habibi Dwika Pratamahttps://jurnal.yalamqa.com/index.php/aqlu/article/view/480PREDIKSI TINGKAT PRODUKSI PADI DI LOMBOK BARAT DENGAN METODE LEAST SQUARE2026-01-03T08:51:58+07:00Elyin Fitrawatifitrawati@gmail.comSetiawati SetiawatiSetiawati@gmail.comSri Puji RahayuRahayu3@gmail.comNuzla Af’idatur Robbaniyyahnuzla@unram.ac.idTri Maryono Rusadirusadi.tm@staff.unram.ac.id
Rice is one of the crops that plays a significant role in maintaining food security and supporting Indonesia’s economy. This study aims to forecast rice production in West Lombok Regency using the least square method. The data utilized include harvested area and rice production from 2011 to 2022. The resulting prediction model is a second-degree polynomial function that represents the relationship between harvested area and total rice production. Based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) analysis, an error rate of 2.2391% was obtained, indicating that the model has a very high level of accuracy, as the error is below 10%. The purpose of this analysis was to evaluate service effectiveness and identify the best queueing arrangement to reduce customer waiting time. Direct observation of customer arrivals and service times over two working weeks produced primary data. The system was in a stable state. The results of the Chi-Square distribution test showed that service time followed an exponential distribution and customer arrivals followed a Poisson distribution. With one customer service officer, the service level increased to 6–8 customers per hour, compared to the usual customer arrival rate of 3–5 people per hour. The system is still stable, according to the agent workload level of 0.44, but efficiency decreases with an average waiting time of 12.5 minutes during peak hours (09:00–11:00). According to the simulation, waiting time can be reduced to less than one minute and the overall service duration to around nine minutes by adding one CS, making a total of two agents. Therefore, it is recommended that Bank Sumut KCP USU employ two active customer service agents during peak hours to improve customer satisfaction and service efficiency
2026-01-03T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Putri Jehan Maulana, Indah Tribuana Citra, Anisa Hafizah Siregar, R. The novelty of this study lies in the mathematical model of cartoon addiction by dividing the population into four main classes, namely vulnerable individuals, occasional viewers, addicts, and those who have permanently stopped watching cartoons. The methods used include the formulation of a mathematical model based on a system of differential equations, the calculation of the basic reproduction number using the next generation matrix approach, the analysis of fixed point stability, and the evaluation of sensitivity indices to identify parameters that affect the basic reproduction number. The results of the analysis show that the fixed point without addiction is locally asymptotically stable when , while the endemic fixed point is locally asymptotically stable when . Sensitivity analysis shows that the parameters of the entry rate of susceptible individuals () and the effective contact rate () contribute positively to the increase in , while the parameters of the transition from susceptible to not interested in cartoons (), the recovery rate from addiction (), and natural mortality () contribute to the decrease in .
