Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Teaching learning model on the IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning outcomes of third-grade students at Private Elementary School (SD Swasta) Kartika 1-2 Medan Helvetia during the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employed a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population consisted of all 36 third-grade students, all of whom were included in the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The test instrument comprised 25 items that had undergone validity and reliability testing. The results showed that the average pretest score of 66.17 increased to 80.00 on the posttest following the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model. Correlation analysis yielded a coefficient of 0.710, indicating a strong relationship. Furthermore, hypothesis testing resulted in a t-calculated value of 5.328 and a t-table value of 2.048; thus, t-calculated > t-table, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. These results indicate that the implementation of the Quantum Teaching learning model significantly influenced the IPAS learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Swasta Kartika 1-2 Medan Helvetia during the 2025/2026 academic year.
