University students are at a developmental stage characterized by various academic, social, and personal demands that can impact their psychological state and well-being. Religiosity is one factor that can enhance psychological well-being. This study aims to determine the role of religiosity in improving the psychological well-being of university students. Religiosity is understood as the extent of an individual's engagement with religious beliefs, practices, experiences, and the internalization of religious teachings; meanwhile, psychological well-being refers to an individual's capacity for self-acceptance, building positive relationships with others, maintaining autonomy, managing their environment, possessing a sense of purpose in life, and developing their personal potential. This study employs a quantitative approach. Data collection utilized Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-Being and a religiosity scale. The study participants consisted of 50 fourth-semester students from the Pastoral Counseling study program at the State Christian Institute of Kupang (Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Kupang). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results demonstrate a positive and significant influence of religiosity on the students' psychological well-being (F = 13.257, p = 0.000, R-square = 0.216), indicating that religiosity contributes 21.6% to psychological well-being; thus, higher levels of religiosity are associated with improved psychological well-being among Pastoral Counseling students at the State Christian Institute of Kupang
