This study aims to determine the influence of economic variables, namely: capital, business duration, and working hours on the income of staple food traders at Mengwi Market, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The sample in this study was determined using the simple random sampling technique, with a total of 73 respondents. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study indicate that the economic variables capital, business duration, and working hours-partially have a positive and significant effect on the income of staple food traders at Mengwi Market, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. Capital, business duration, and working hours also have a significant simultaneous effect on the income of these traders. The coefficient of determination shows that 70.9 percent of the variation in income can be explained by the variables of capital, business duration, and working hours. The remaining 29.1 percent is influenced by other factors not included in this study
